When we launched the Tucson Swiss Club website we wanted to reserve one section where our members could share "Neat Things" with visitors to the site. Recipes immediately came to mind, as did links to Swiss resources. We envisioned that perhaps at some future time neat B & Bs in Switzerland could be included, or possibly books you have read by Swiss Authors or about Switzerland that you'd like to share. We'll leave that up to you, and are looking forward to your ideas and inputs.

Luciano Pavarotti points out that one of the very nicest things about life is that we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing to devote our attention to eating. We like to add that most of us enjoy in the delight of discovering new dishes with our friends. We recently read a quotation from Alice May Brock who tells us that tomatoes and oregano make a dish Italian; wine and tarragon make it French; sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek; soy sauce makes it Chinese and garlic makes it good. Here we'll show the world what makes it Swiss.

Our goal for this section of the site was to build a home-library of links specifically addressing the interests of our members. We have selected a few Swiss newspapers as well as sites that we've found useful over the years. If we missed any of your favorite sites, let us know and we'll gladly include them. After all, this is your library of neat things.
