The Mummenschanz troupe is coming back to Tucson early next year for another fantastic show. It will take place at Centennial Hall on Sunday February 18, 2017, at 4:00 pm. We featured them in our Spotlight on St Gallen earlier this year. Their new presentation is called "You & Me". You can obtain tickets at UAPresents.org.
Just received this missive from Brigitte Spuhler. We offer our condolences to her and her family.
With a heavy heart I let you know that I lost my dear husband. Thomas passed away surrounded by his family, on Sept. 17.
We are going to celebrate the life of Thomas on Nov. 12 at 11:00 am at Santa Catalina Catholic Church, 14380 N Oracle Road.
All are invited to a light lunch reception in the Parish Hall. Feel free to forward this info to the Tucson Swiss Club members.
Just a note to let you know that Robbie Schneider's fight with his heart is over. He died on May 21st when he failed to get his breath. His heart stopped trying to get the oxygen to his body and at 6:43 and he died with me sitting close to him. There is a nice obituary at Adamson Funeral Home here in Greeley, CO. There is room for comments if you are interested in making any. We didn't know too many of you but enjoyed our time with you.
I will miss our get-togethers for picnics and Christmas parties that you invited us to. Thank you for keeping the Swiss together. You do a great job!
Death and taxes as Benjamin Franklin told us are certainties. Come Winter we can also count on Snow Birds turning up and friends from the Midwest visiting us in Tucson. The Terazza at Hacienda del Sol, Noble Hops, and the Arizona Inn are just three of the places we take our friends for a treat when they visit to show them what makes Tucson so special. Where do you take your visitors and what makes those restaurants so special?
